Doesn't boiling beer change the flavor? At the very least, make it extremely flat?
And what about safety? Wouldn't getting the beer that hot cause the can to rupture at some point, spraying boiling, flat, fermented hops, wheat, rice or whatever all over any half drunk idiot that thought it was a a good idea to cook a can of beer? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />
Is all this a Netherlands or Australian thing? Seems a tad foolhardy to me.

Almost all aluminum cans are lined with a super thin layer of plastic epoxy. There is a big problem right now with BPA and polycarbinates causing issues. For one they cause man boobs because plastic mimic female hormones.
