Got a new Starter, New Fuel Pump, New Fuel Filter, New Batt.,
New O2 Sensor (Bank 1), New Idle Control Sensor, -----All this about a month or so ago.

When I turn the Key it cranks for like almost 10 seconds and of course I stop. Then I turn the key again and it will start.
(Always without fail) redundant cycle.


Keep in mind that it is doing this when in Texas the temp is over 100 f...........And It is not bad gas either.

I have the return code of p1071 (to lean)! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

Any ideas on what it could be??????????

BTW: I will post PICS of the Exhaust Headers that I have (if there are leaks there) will that be enough to affect the O2 sensor to the point of causing this?????
