This is not intended to be either provocative or argumentative.

I have been finding that it is increasingly difficult to get parts from the Isuzu parts channel. Increasingly, I am being told that a given part is no longer available from Isuzu.

Certainly we can change transmissions/tcases to something more available, but at what point does the effort to continue to run an Isuzu become just not worth the effort.

Right now Jerry (LeMond) is an invaluable source of parts. At some point, he is going to run out of parts.

I am hoping that this sparks some real discussion, not tirades on either side of the issue, i.e., (a) it is time to give up on running an Isuzu, or (b) I'll run my Isuzu until it simply falls apart.
