I learned to drive 40 miles from the dunes, so I was there every weekend. My jeep started out with stock 245'sXwhatever. After I learned to air them down I was pulling people out like it was going out of style. Now I have 33X12.50's and unless I am driving more than 10 miles (dirt roads around my house for a few miles) I'm always down around 8-10 PSI. Not only is my traction off the wall, but I get 2-4 inches of super soft travel that soaks up all the wash board and small rocks.

The one thing I would recommend before a lift or a locker or anything, is learning how to air down your tires and not blowing a bead.

Fortunately, I have insurance for a blown bead with a cheap built OBA with a stock sanden and I have a good high lift.
