EXACTLY! I had this problem and had to return one of mine.

You NEED to get the BOM # from the axle and run it through the Dana/Spicer web site to see what it REALLY is. Most sellers don't know what they've got.

Coilovers are cool. I'm installing 4 link front with Radflo shocks and Eibach springs.

Good luck. Depending on what wheel/tire combo you run, it will be a lot of weight. Keep in mind the newer metric Ford axles don't have a HUGE wheel offering, so be sure you're happy with what's available before you take the plunge! You won't be able to run any type of 15" wheel unless you want to grind the hell out of the calipers, so you're stuck with 16" and bigger wheels (tires cost more). You'll also need to beware of backspacing because of steering and brake caliper interference if you plan on running a custom made wheel (like I decided to do). Everything is possible, but be informed or you'll waste a lot of money on stuff you can't use.
