Getting the Wheeling Fever
Can someone please tell me how you remove the front grill. I can not get the clips free. Anyone have any pics or drawing on how to get it out??

Usually the clips are plastic with a pin in the center that pushes in to expand the end of the clip. You need to get something like needle nose pliers to pull that pin out a ways (towards the engine) to release the pressure on the end of the clip.

I stick a small flathead screwdriver in there then turn it 90 degrees and they pop right out. Start from one end of the grille and go accross.

One of them is a phillips head screw you have to take out, i think it's in the middle, take that one out first.

Thanks guys. I got it out ok. After 20 year some clips and not so tight. Does toyota sill sell the clips or anyone else????

You can get prettymuch any part from toyota actually, it's easier to get the parts now then it was 10 years ago.
1sttoyotaparts.com has not bad prices.
