EB, thanks for the response. Been tied up with my 93yr old mother in the hospital...she'll be ok but the shuttling back and forth and trying to get my job done at work has had anything else on the back burner.
I checked the resistance of the cold start sender cold and it was within spec. I did not check hot(yet). Resistance of the cs injector itself was ok too.
I swapped out just about everythig electrical with my spares from my parted truck... coil, igniter, cap, rotor, wires, FI relay, and mass air unit.
Valves adjusted, timing checked.
Don't see a vacuum leak(carb cleaner and propane check)
new update..over the last two days it now starts hard after the overnight... getting worse...
If the injectors are leaking, should the overnight dissipate the gas?
Looking at pulling the injectors, getting them reconditioned and do the solder job on the injector wiring. Does not look like a big deal to pull and replace the injectors?
Your comment: 'I assume you have done the "Hold her to the floor until she starts" trick? That should clear rich, if it doesn't then forget what I just said.'....
For fuel injected motor? I thought that was a no no for FI starting.
