This economy has kept my repairs & upgrades on hold except for essentials. My 22r is smoking and rattles at start up but always starts, has decent power and is getting around 18mpg. So until things stabilize (we make rock crushing equipment and 1/2 of us survived the crash and no rehires yet)......

Besides that my '84 carbie is getting to be less common every day, so a lot of the time I'm out here just listening.

For the last 2 years now I have been yanking Foxglove out of the hayfields, around 20 ton of it. Then it was cutting back blackberry bushes. Next it was out into the main woods, thinning Alder stands and falling trees, cutting up firewood, building sheds, fixing farm machinery, taking care of 400 head of Sheep and 150 head of Cows ...on and on and on...

*Oddly, my back doesn't bother me as much. I can keep up a steady pace for about 5 hours now instead on one. AND I dropped from 244# down to 214# this morning. Even my legs have quit getting tired.

*Heck. I am getting YOUNGER!!!

(*Except this morning I had a lens replaced in my right eye, so now I am laid up for awhile, talk about a PIA.)

Oh, well. Winter coming on, time to kick back. Man it sure is hard to type with just one eye.....*EB

just remembered my log in name. I check stuff out from time to time. But it's been some time.
I also dont like the new lay out how ever old it is.
