[img][image]http://i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv25/SAW32rally/heather2005.jpg[/img][/image] this is the mountain that we walked up.
[img][image]http://i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv25/SAW32rally/heather2012.jpg[/img][/image]
this is us climbing the mountain. it was a lot steeper and bigger than it looks.
[img]http://[image]http://i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv25/SAW32rally/heather2027.jpg[/img][/image]
the little spec on the rock is the trooper. thats with the camera zoomed in. this is zoomed out. [Linked Image][/image]
the rock is in the middle of the picture.
[img][image]http://i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv25/SAW32rally/heather2048.jpg[/img][/image]
that was a yuca ball. weird. smile.
[img][image]http://i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv25/SAW32rally/heather2056.jpg[/img][/image]
that is the mountain from the bottom. that whole hill is loose gravel. it is like walking in sand. bummer.
by the way, the new tires are awesome.

Give me a time when you'll be through Monterey and I'll meet up with you guys on the way through. No need to head this way for me, though. IF you come through here, there's a shopping center right off of Highway 1 where you can park and get Starbucks, Jamba Juice, or Seattles Best. I think there's a little taqueria, as well, if you like that kind of thing. Let me know, and I'll make time for it.

When I first saw these 2 pics, it looked like trick photography with you guys standing over the tiny Trooper... then I woke up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

we are in eureka CA right now. i dont have any pictures but we have had fun. the first night after my cousins we had to sleep in the truck. the biggest reason for this was that we had some car trouble. the main crank bolt started to come loose every 10 to 15 miles. that sucks right. i used some tread fixer stuff from napa and it has been working ever since. if you have been on my topic long then you probably remember this from the beginning of the trip when i was changing the timing belt.
the day after that we got to westport. my brother got smashed and puked on our stuff. that was "fun". and then we got in a fight. in the end he got the puke tent and i got the car for the second night in a row. total bs.
in the morning i started a conversation with the surfer chick that was sleeping in her truck next to us. it turns out that the center drive shaft support bushing in her truck went out at the top of the hill above the camp ground and she had coasted there for the night. at this point we were about 15 miles from the nearest town that had a mechanic shop. given that she didn't want to pay for a tow and it was a good time to play Macguiver, i soaked a few small pieces of a bath towel in gear oil and forced them in to the little space that was left by the missing bushing. i have to say that i was not really sure if it would work but it did. its just one of those moments when you feel proud of your self you know?
thats all for now. ill get some pictures later.
