If you made one out of PVC or ABS, and plastic welded it, it would look even better. (No bulges where the flared connections are.)

I'm thinking of making one that runs through the "wiper cover" on the passenger side and out the top of the passenger side cowl and up the windshield. Mine will most likely be PVC as well. I like it.

No need to go back to lurking, they are picking on Landraider and I don't know why, I think it's a little black paint would improve the appearance though. They can pick on me all they want to. Cmon wheeling. Ohh yeah... You're gonna want to make sure you have VERY secure front recovery points.

Now that I think of it, I've steamed and heated PVC and ABS to bend it...Hmmm
But I think I'd try "painting" it with undercoating.

OK.. Since there appears to be some interest... I built this PVC snorkle back in 01 ish. I had VERY little spare money, and thought this would be a great way to have a snorkle without paying the $ for a safari snorkle.
This was after I JUST swapped in my turbo motor from a conquest. You can see from the pictures....
I wanted to put the hole in the fender right where a safari snorkle would go, so thats why it is shaped the way it is.
The bungee's were obviously there for mocking up, and picture taking purposes.
I ended up getting a 2nd hand, but new safari, and installing it first, and the plumbing parts got set to the side, but I still think it would have been a cheap, cool, functional project. Some sanding, and a flat black paint job, and no one would have ever known it was PVC

As for painting PVC, I rough it lightly with 120 grit & hit it with carb cleaner (acetone, MEK or the like) & get the first coat on while the solvent is still wet. It chemically & physically bonds better.
