Getting the Wheeling Fever
I was wondering if it would be possible to make a shim that fits on top of my strut mount that would bolt to my inner fender. Could this be done to make a lift for my 01 sporty. It's just a thought. lol...As i am going to buy new struts and thought of lifting it this way this time instead of spacers.

2001 sporty, tj rear springs with rav4 shocks, ford alloys machined centers with 30x9.5x15, front spacers. more upgrades to come.

well i just noticed that they already have something like i was talking about. But they are for newer chevy's and others. They are strut mount spacers.

Body Damage is Cool
That is what I designed for the Sportage back in 2000. In fact I believe I had the first coilover IFS lift at that time. The Dodge's and Jeep TJs had someting simular but they had solid axles. Everet makes them now, I think it is smater to use a time tested part like the upyourkia spacer then to try building something else. The price is right also. Go to upyourkia.com and check them out.
