That is a SOHC 24V engine. The DOHC was out of production in 2002 with engineering going towards the Beta series engines.

The intake is easy, just flip the turbo intake around or take your selection from most any intake style you want, Most all the 24V uppers interchange. The 3.5 DOHC has larger ports but most of the others are the same right up through the 3.8.
