After I put tall tires on my 87 the factory system seemed too weak to stop from highway speeds. Firm pedal all corners working corectly.

It may also be I'm kind of particular about having really good brakes, who knows.

What really made a differance was putting on the V6 booster.

My 88 stopped a lot better than my 87. I think the factory had a good reason to upgrade them one step further for the V6 in 89.
