No, but I wouldn't buy a (new) truck from an American manufacturer, either.

Someone needs to get back to basic trucks and build something mid-size - like the size of the Colorado/Canyon...... but simple, tough as nails and cheap.

If it can be done, it'll likely come out of South Korea or China. I'd give China the edge on strength and simplicity, but South Korea the edge on quality at a price.

Alternatively, Mitsubishi could buy Jeep.... and build some really nice and cheap 4WD basic trucks for this market - if they moved production to China.
