Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
My oil cooler line is leaking on my 90 Isuzu trooper. So I am just going to get rid of the oil cooler and put a new oil filter adapter on it. I just need to know where the best place is to get one. I have the one from the 3.4 camaro engine, but if I remember right it doesnt have the right places to hook up my sensors. So if anyone knows where to get a new adapter please respond. Kyle Mattinson

Someone more familiar with the oil cooler can correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you just disconnect the oil lines from the adapter and plug the holes in the adapter? Or does that mess up the oil circulation within the adapter? Just thinkin'!......ed

Yes, there's a problem with circulation unless the cooler-equipped adapter is modified. It's easier to find a non-cooler adapter from another 2.8 vehicle and replace it.
Buy a Trooper. You'll be glad you did.
