Thanks Axe Man. Wire was broken as well is the plastic on the sensor (I guess it was just old not cut) and check engine light was on. I replaced the knock sensor, not fun, and truck still has no power. The guy at AutoZone told me codes were knock sensor (fixed) and EGR.
I'm not sure what to do now. I have had this thing apart to check the following: Compression is good on all cylinders Timing belt is spot on Both Coil Packs fire Pulled fuel rail and all looked good fuel is clean as Injector inlet screens are clean.
The truck idles normal but when you try to free rev the engine it is not crisp, it's lazy and will only pull 4.5K RPM. When you drive it you can drive normal with 1/4 throttle but when you floor it you hear lots of intake noise but it's slow to respond and feels like it only has 30HP.
I'm open to any and all tests just out of ideas. Thanks Jon.
