some of have 2wd and some 4wd, but have none lsd carriers and are tired of sliding on the road because of only 1 rear wheel grabbing the road and on have a source for LSD's in there area's like pice-a-parts etc. that they are willing to check out. we have tried in our areas and they are not to be had.
2001 5sp. K&N stock filter 215/70/15 If your check engine light is on at least you know the light still works

REMEMBER: If your buying one from a salvage yard, there are 26 and 28 spline units. Correct me if I am wrong, I believe 95-97 have 26 spline axles in the rear, and 98-02 has 28 spline axles. Ring gears are different size from front to back so you can't swap. Good Luck Everet

Have fun with that website. I was looking through it for a LSD rear end a couple months back near the Akron, Ohio area. Most of the ones that are listed as locker also say "ck" or "check locker" or something similar. I didn't find a single one that was actually a locker. I even drove a couple hours to look at one because I was told it was, but it turned out not to be.
If you find one you think might be LSD, ask the yard to either run the VIN by Kia to have them verify it or ask for the VIN and call Kia yourself.
01 Convertible; Electric Fan; 3" Up Your Kia lift spacers; Tj 104's; 31x10.5x15's on Centerlines; Rear LSD. GONE, all I have left are a few spare parts and the wheels.
