Hmm, nice find. Obviously, the ring and pinion can be swapped between all those vehicles listed. my question is this: can the carriers be swapped between vehicles? obviously the ring would bolt up to the carrier, so the only fitment issue would be if the carriers were not the same width between the vehicles. In other words, are the overall length of the carriers the same from carrier bearing to carrier bearing? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

This is a good question, and one I was wondering about a bit back. I was running through the ARB Air Locker application listings, scanning the shaft diameters vs spline count. I found that model RD110 has a 28.8mm shaft diameter application and 28 spline count, which is dang close to the rear on the later 1st gen Sporty (29mm; 28 spline). My thought then was the same. How does the length of the unit compare to the Kia? Bolt pattern would matter too, but maybe new holes could be drilled on our ring gear, offset from the current ones.
