Has anyone seen a cable that fits the 7-pin DIN plug on the back of a single din radio? I think its there for a secondary input as the single din player doesn't have a tape player integrated to it. The plug looks something like this:

I haven't yet cracked the case open, but would like to crack a ipod adapter to have a remote in from an ipod and be able to charge it to as i suspect there is a grounding and powered wire integrated for the auxiliary tape deck. I have looked at the electrical diagrams and from what I can see there aren't any specifics of what each pin does. Any help would be useful.

That must be the antenna tuner interface plug...LOL
I think it'd be pretty easy to figger out if you open it up.
The ground is simple, then you need the audio amp input. You might also find it's not possible, because the head unit needs to sense the tape player....

The 1989 and 1987 electrical audio diagrams show a 7-wire cable going between the radio tuner and the tape deck when offered separately. The head unit would most likely pickup the presence of a ipod as there would most likely be a signal wire which would signal the radio to switch from radio to tape mode when a tape is inserted.
