Mods - feel free to move this. Since it's Montero specific, I thought it might go here. I'm not pushing any part sales, although some will be available later.

I sorta hate posting this, but thought you folks would like to see a SC Montero clunker with 212k miles that just came in the yard today. This one has been repainted the original metallic loden green and doesn't have a ding anywhere. The color and paintwork are gorgeous. The interior is pretty good, considering the mileage. It has the off-road package, but it's never been off-road. The spare appears new. The dealer told me that before they poured in the sodium silicate and seized the engine, it purred like a kitten. It makes me fairly sick to think about crushing it.

I'll probably try the wheels and tires on the Mighty Max and see if it can turn 235/75/15s - and I might put the LSD 3rd member in the G-Raider, but other than that, it'll be available for parts at least.

It may not be the golden bale, but it's dang close and the best looking Montero I've seen in a while. Man-o-man....... it's a pretty thing.
