Body Damage is Cool
I have an aftermarket 3rd row in my '95 trooper. It has worked great, but it only has lap belts.
I think that isuzu offered a factory 3rd row in later models? Are the seat belts better? Can a 10-13 year old fit in them?
I ask because both of my troopers are well over 200K miles and I have been looking at a Sequoia or Armada, but it is hard for me to get the troopers out of my blood. So, if an '01 or '02 trooper would work for my family I think I will go in that direction. I just need functional 3rd row seating to stuff the kids in.

1987 trooper LS.'94 3.2, SAS,35's , lots of dents and rust. Now, improved, with more dents.
1995 trooper LS. Wife won't let me improve this one.
1996 trooper. I'll need something to modify when the '87 finally rusts away.

I know this isn't the question that you asked, but here is my two cents, anyway.

One of my daughters has a new generation Pathfinder, the little brother of the Armada. I have been with her for a couple of day-long road trips and the only downside was that it has the turning radius of a freight train.

His second paragraph, where he said that he was looking at a Sequoia or an Armada.

I looked at the pathfinder, but they are too small for my needs. If I replace my troopers it will need to be of the armada/sequoia size. I really wanted a GX470, but the third row jump seats don't cut it.
