The truck is a long bed with a heavy quad tube class 3 bumper hitch.

I already have a master for a 90 v6 montero. But before i got the combo on The stock master went out right before a trip and i put another stock one on rather than open a can of worms in the dead of winter.

I think the stock 87 on 4cly truck master is already bigger than the ones they put on the older 4cly monteros?
