Hey guys (and girls), i've been wanting to do this for years, and it wont be complete for probably another 6 months, but here we go.

Powerwashed, now tearing it down. (Btw 5 months between these two photos)


More parts removed, (this was about the time i decided to do a rebuild instead of just timing belt/water/oil pump)


Front of motor with everything pulled off,

Now the first toy, the last ever ORS harness / swap kit made,


Bottom end, rebuilt with Arias lightened forged pistons (stock compression ratio), and balanced bottom end.





Rebuilts heads (CNC 3 angle valve job) with Colt Cams Stage 2 262 (sea2skytuning) cams (sorry no good pics yet)


Ported and polished lower intake from some guy off yotatech that never used it,


Plug wires, fuel rails, etc from the same guy,


New engine / tranny mounts


New LCE head, flywheel and pressure plate bolts. Supra twin turbo MAF, rebuilt injectors, misc parts.

OOOoooooeeeEEE. Make sure you get a GOOD torque on the crankbolt when you put it back together Greg; it's up there.

Now the swap requires the 3.4 motor mounts; the 3.0 mounts won't work, correct? That's something I need to edit/add in the swap article in the portal that's lacking.

Now the money-maker, in all it's glory, a freshly rebuilt 3.4 with all new moving parts and URD 2.2 pulley.

Now, there is lots more, but just, not as "fun"
Full OEM gasket kit, timing belt kit, oil pump, water pump, NEW 98' 4runner engine harness, Supra twin turbo MAF, plug and play EPaO rear o2 simulator (for high flow cats), rebuilt stock injectors (by Paradise Racing cheap and great work), new knock sensor wire (they appear to be 1 time use only) 170 deg thermostat, and probably more.
Still waiting on a URD crankshaft pulley and 7th injector, and i will have everything. Then have to assemble the engine now and throw it in.

Only thing getting in the way of taking the 4runner off the road, is fixing up my winter car, anyone guess what it is?

BTW, i'm looking for 300hp at the wheels, that's my goal... i'd be happy with 275 tho, we'll see.

Actually, it requires the use of 3.0 mounts, from frame to block. The 3.4 mounts push the engine too far back i believe. Rad, engine mounts, etc are from the 3.0. Oh yeah, i got a new rad too, forgot about that (been sitting in the garage for years LOL).
Oh yeah, got a new crankbolt too. Must have.
