Just looked at my manual and it says Dexron II also, but I would expect that as it's an 1998 like yours.

Mitsubishi sells the Diamond ATF but tells us to use Dexron II in our trucks. So are the AW guys (whoever they are) smarter than the engineers that design the truck?
