symtoms are: no power unless wot,1/4 of the pedal does nothing,it`s not running rich,but ive got the mixture screw out 5 3/4 turns,so i know its not lean, if the pedal stays in a certin spot it back fires through the carb. i checked every part with soap and water and carb cleaner to see if rpm goes up or down. got none of that.all vacuum hoses are gone with the exception of the distrubiter advance. its got alot vacuum,ive not hooked up a gauge yet. i`ll get that measurement back to ya. oh, ive put a fuel regulator on the stock pump(weber requirement) so it only gets 3.5 psi of fuel.that cleared up the other problems i had before this reared its freakin head. ive run pressure test,leak down test,put my hand over the intake and damn near lost my hand.its breathing good. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> thanks for putting some thought in it,man. ive just about had it.i love this thing,but im at my wits end.
