What I do remember is that I used a hole saw to open up the cross member to let the rubber isolator drop down further. This also helped with the pinion angle. I know I did some welding as well.

I did move the bracket mounting points so that I did not have to drill the tab on the pumpkin.

Obviously both way work.... ItÆs all about preferences.
