If anyone is interested in lifting the Pajero or leveling out the front end without a harsh ride, tapered balljoint spacers are ready. Finally got them machined.

90 shipped per pair w/ hardware

They should work on the Ram 50. What's the balljoint part # on it ? I can match it up and see.

These are not to lift your truck. They are to help not to damage your equipment AFTER you lift the truck. These have been used by the Isuzu crowd for years.

If your front end is sagging lower than the rear, these will help level it out with little torsion-bar leveling.

They add roughly 1/2 - 1" of front-end lift. If you do not use these spacers and just crank the t-bars, the ride gets harsh. These will keep your balljoints lined up.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but these don't physically add lift. They make lifting via torsion bars possible. Furthermore, they MAY help prolong ball joint life by taking some of the tension, added by torsion bar cranking, off of them.

Stolen description from a maker of these for another brand of vehicle.

Quote
BALL JOINT SPACERS FOR USE ON FRONT IFS TRUCKS LOOKING TO GAIN MAXIMUM LIFT FROM TORSION BAR CRANKING. THESE SPACERS INCREASE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE A-ARMS TO ALLOW FULL T-BAR CRANKING WHILE MAINTAINING SOFT FRONT RIDE QUALITY. IN ADDITION, THE SPACERS ADD POSITIVE WHEEL CAMBER FOR PROPER ALIGNMENT WITH CRANKED TORSION BARS.

That said, I'm thinking about getting a set.

Jon, that's where I was getting to.

Perfect explanation. I'll borrow it as a sticky on the other thread.

I didn't do these to make a quick buck.

I had to shell out over 1k to get these done because the shop would only cut a min amount of aluminum stock and setup the CNC machine for one long pass and then the hardware.

Will probably take quite a while to break even but at least I got what I wanted out of them and my lady loves the smoother ride, plus they get to go on other Monty's.

Just looking to recoup what I have in it and pass on the good savings.

Thanks
Jesse
