Get some spare tie rods with it too and maybe CV or two as well. Are you saying this because the spacers are hard on those parts?

I doubt he is saying the spacers themselves are hard on those parts. I think what happens is since you do not bring the centerlink down you start to take the tie rods to the extent of there travel and potentially bend them. Same with the cvs but if these help with the camber it will take care of the cv joints somewhat as well. Now if you have manual locking hubs cvs should last some time any way. Gen 2 hubs are always locked but can have manuals put on to them I think.

Yes extra drop may go beyond capacity of tie rods ends. More drop increases force trying to bend those as well. They you negotiate obstacles. CVs pop out of front hub stripping snap ring sometimes, lets dirt in. Some CV actually grenaded when off roading being pushed beyond their working angle. 1" is actually is borderline limit what front end can handle. Smaller spacers < 3/4" seem to fair better. Even then you risk damage. If you plan to play around town and don't mind potential damage it's ok mod but if you like expedition style trave. I would stay with stock suspension. And please get bigger bolts to secure those at least M10 instead of stock M8.

It lets you lift more because the upper arm moves up farther away from the bump stops, thus you can crank the torsion bars more.
@ Alex Kogan- what lift would you say max is with the 1" spacer? 3" t-bar crank lift with the spacer? Or would that max out the CVs and tie rods too much?

It doesn't matter what "lift" you get. It's not a lift anyway in a true meaning of this tirm. It's increased down-travel what kills you.

Alex is right, We have done a lot of this down here in various ways. The solution is to add a taller bump stop to keep the travel within a safe area. Even without taller bumpstops i don't think too many people will have problems with breakage considering PA_JERO's Gen1 was running Gen 2 arms with a balljoint flip, maxed out t-bars and no bump stops which is more extreme than adding this spacer with a little lift. He did break tie rods but keep in mind this is serious rockcrawling with car sized rocks to crawl. If you've seen PA_JERO wheel you'll wonder how he doesn't break more things some of our adventures
