Alex is right, We have done a lot of this down here in various ways. The solution is to add a taller bump stop to keep the travel within a safe area. Even without taller bumpstops i don't think too many people will have problems with breakage considering PA_JERO's Gen1 was running Gen 2 arms with a balljoint flip, maxed out t-bars and no bump stops which is more extreme than adding this spacer with a little lift. He did break tie rods but keep in mind this is serious rockcrawling with car sized rocks to crawl.
