you should do miners revenge instead. Lets do it in NOV or DEC so you can go to. Hackberry is fun and i don't have my gears in yet and they would be a big help on a trail like miners revenge, so lets stick to hackberry besides JBFP is in!

They've been working on that deal for years now. Wonder when it's going to actually happen.

Thats a different area, the deposit is in the oak flat area like curt said and miners revenge is at the bottom of the mountain on battle axe road. They could mine there too but thats pretty far away but you never know. But like JBFP said they've been working on mining that area for years it'll take a spike in copper prices to get back on track with that mine again. I'm pretty sure that company won't be investing in that for a while since the 793 haul trucks we were building for them are still sitting in pieces at the dealer. Either way it will eventually close and we need to wheel the [censored] out of it before it does. Let's do miners revenge next month or december, that'll give us all time to get our crawler gears in.
Awesome Motero! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

How about we meet up at the Circle K in Superior? You're sure the early riser these days, Toast. Just think, Motero will have to leave his house in Wittmann by about 6 to make it all the way across town before we even wake up. That's dedication.
The issue with the land around Oak Flat isn't just about mining. Most of the actual mining activity will be underground, as the deposits to be exploited lie much further below than other mine's in the area.
The biggest issue is that much of the land is now under government control and the Feds are completing a land swap with the mining corporation to give them the Oak Flat area in exchange for some other land the mining corp. has. That's a pretty complicated deal in and of itself. Then there's the ever-fluctuating price of copper that makes the deal more attractive and urgent, then less so. Add to that, a seemingly largely settled issue was the area near Oak Flat (Apache Leap?) that is considered world-class for free climbing and rapelling. Don't ask me about that, though.
