Shadowgear (aka Jonathon) posted on my club's forum a while back. He bought a buddy's truck (which contained some Betsy I and II parts) and is doing well. He also has a sport, in addition to my buddy's 87, and praps another. He lives about 3 hours north of me, but we haven't gotten together yet. Someday. I miss Uncle DougM. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> And Seeratlas, if he was in fact real? My buddy Don H doesn't come on much anymore either, though the legacy of his bumpers will live on forever. A nicer guy you won't meet. He's stayed at the house a few times! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

2m4dale and his S-I-L drove to Atlanta from Ohio around March or April of 2007 and bought my 86 Montero. We loaded it onto a trailer, Sparkem & Chelsea, DavidG and his buddy Chuck(?), Javypro all drove over to help and afterwards we went and ate pizza together. I heard from Dale once since that time.
Too many 4x4's, not enough time or money

Yeah, that was a good time. Remember I was behind you at a red light when we were traveling back to SC from LA and stopped around ATL to get something to eat.
I thought Dale ended up selling the Raider/Montero.

The other day Guy posted a picture from a offroading trip in the NJ pinebarens that I had 'lead'. Charlie and his young son Nathan were in the picture as well. Must have been 6 years + ago. We were all posing infront of my 93 Monty that I sent to great toaster factory in the sky. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Charlie was good people, it would be great to hear how he was doing. His son must be a teenager by now. Hey Dough, actually that was Ethan & he is now 10! It has been awhile. We'll never forget that Pine Barrens trip. I call it the "Sub" trip led by "Capt Nemo" as I spent more time stuck in the water than out of it. I ended up having to get my trans rebuilt due to the water ingestion. Dough drove around the small town & bought up the entire stock of trans fluid so I could change the fluid & drive back home. I sold my '93 SR to Sparkem 2004ish. We moved to Alice Springs, AU in May '09. I'm waiting to buy a Pajero Exceed DiD (3.2) once the US$ gets stronger against the AU$. Still skim the Mits board every so often...

I bought the 93SR in late 05. I still have it. It has 190k+ miles now. I dont drive it much. I plan on selling it in the next month or so. I am after a Landcruiser again.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.
