The other day Guy posted a picture from a offroading trip in the NJ pinebarens that I had 'lead'. Charlie and his young son Nathan were in the picture as well. Must have been 6 years + ago. We were all posing infront of my 93 Monty that I sent to great toaster factory in the sky. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Charlie was good people, it would be great to hear how he was doing. His son must be a teenager by now.


Hey Dough, actually that was Ethan & he is now 10! It has been awhile. We'll never forget that Pine Barrens trip. I call it the "Sub" trip led by "Capt Nemo" as I spent more time stuck in the water than out of it. I ended up having to get my trans rebuilt due to the water ingestion. Dough drove around the small town & bought up the entire stock of trans fluid so I could change the fluid & drive back home.

I sold my '93 SR to Sparkem 2004ish.

We moved to Alice Springs, AU in May '09. I'm waiting to buy a Pajero Exceed DiD (3.2) once the US$ gets stronger against the AU$.

Still skim the Mits board every so often...
