My Gen I 2.6 was a horrible gas guzzler off road.
On Road 17 MPG ( not loaded ) Off Road 8-10 MPG ( loaded for three day trip )
That's a 42% increase in fuel consumption. I had to carry at least 10 Gallons of extra gas on the Mojave Road. You could only stuff about 14 gallons in the SWB Gen I main tank.
My Gen II.5 holds 24 gallons. I have not taken the it on a long haul off road trip. I'm wondering what others have experienced in off road fuel consumption with the 3.5L. I'm hoping it's better the the 2.6 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />
