Nah. Once you disconnect the brake line, shocks and panhard bar the axle can be lowered enough for the springs to fall out <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />

Spring compressors would be really awkward to use with the springs on the truck. I've only ever used compressors on coilover setups off the car.
