No I have not followed this up any. After I started this topic I was in the process of switching jobs again. So I will get back into this topic after Christmas. Maybe tax return time.

Yeah, Michael, I found a place in Santa Cruz that will give me a pretty good deal on the Miller 211 that I wanted. Pricey, but it should be the only welder I'll need to buy. I'll bring it up when I come for you to make my sleeping platform for the Trooper! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

There is but one problem Jon. I have no 220v, I'm even lucky to have 110v as this house is over 100 years old. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

So even on 110v it would be risky.

The welder is dual voltage, so if there's a need for it, I'm sure we'll figure it out. Start making your list of things you want joined...you know how to work these things, right? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
