ok found the problem the old common leaky capacitors but i not sure if it is a an easy fix it leaked to the left here and has discolored several components. I can just replace the capacitors but I'm worried that more needs to be replace which means ill be mailing it out for repairs ![[Linked Image]](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a397/scottoohot/hfsgdff-1.jpg)

With the right tools, replacement parts, and skills it's easily fixable.
Seriously though if you haven't done a lot of soldering, I'd practice on something else first before tackling this job yourself. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

93 v6 pickup part# md162826 Yea I understand fixing the capacitors is possible but the second picture is pointing to more damage then just needing soldering those two black squares looked messed up along with the board they are on

I remember there is a shop that fixes ECU's. Can't remember the name but it's in the search somewhere.

The MM is a different PN, tho I'd like to get ahold of an monte ECU to see if it could work in a MM.
And finding a pickup ECU is damned hard. Least one you wanna buy haha

And finding a pickup ECU is damned hard. Least one you wanna buy haha im sure it is. ive used a diamante ECU in a 3000gt. most likely its a different PN due to the case.

And finding a pickup ECU is damned hard. Least one you wanna buy haha I have an ASE Rebuilt ECU for a 1991 Mitsu Montero.. It's Federal/Cali Compatible for 1990-1991 Monteros if you want to cross reference it with what you've got. I'm looking to get $80 shipped.

Whats p/n on it? I know all 90-94 3.0 MM federals run the p/n he mentioned above. I'd hate to buy one and blow it up. That would be a kick in the crotch
