Ive seen it done quite a few MMs not a montero tho. With the MM its a lil simpler w/ the cable clutch but basically all you have to do is install the tranny. Cut a hole thru the firewall reinforce the hole so the wall doesnt flex when you press the clutch. Rig up the cable and go.

Now with the montero being a hydro clutch everythings a lil more complex.
