Roll Me Over
Air pressure makes a lot of difference in the snow(on the trail). I run my 33's down to 3-5psi and they do very well.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.

I've got 33x9.5's on mine for the winter and love them.

Speaking from another canadian winter snowy/slushy hwy driving perspective.... x 2 on the year round use of 33x9.5. No need to change tires!

Only if the tires are studdable....there would be no more worries driving on black ice/freezing rain.

Need a Spot
I've got them on the wifes 96 cherokee and on my 93 Toyota pickup. I've got no complaints. They work great handling a combination of mountain pavement and dirt trails. Although when it gets wet and muddy the compramize shows.

Do you mean when its wet they are worse? Mine seem great on wet pavement. Only hydroplaning is when it is deep puddles in hard rain and they even "chirp" when the pavement is completely wet. In the mud I agree with you but I think its because mine are only 9.50 wide. I think if they were 12.50's they would be better. Otherwise a great tire. I found the paperwork on mine the other day. 9000 miles and I can't even tell. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
