No one has claimed that the handling is better. There appear to be brake and driveshaft issues some of the time.

For my time in the U.S. I don't mind working on my car some, but I won't have a dedicated workspace for any length of time to deal with issues.

Yes, better brakes and maybe airlocker. The width is only I think an inch on both sides I don't think you would need a fender flare though.
