Yeah, Olongapo is still Olongapo. Toned down, though. Once you get across "Sh!t River", the scene is a lot different than the "base". Subic Bay Maritime Authority controls the port, but most of the businesses inside the gate are owned by Korean business men. It is a HOT Korean tourist area now. The US ships in 7th Fleet still go there twice a year for exercises with the Philippine Navy and Army.

I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to head over there!
