I'm pretty pro enviorment and have all the emmisons equipment intact even though I added a turbo (EGR, Cat and pulse air system), but I cant get behind ethanol gas.

I also think it affect some of the older vehilce a bit more since that carb vehicles dont compensate for fuel changes as well. I also think that the lower turbulance hemi style engines might be bit morea affected by the slower flame speed of the ethanol mix ( 2.6).

Around town its hard to get much more than 14 -15 on my Raider. On the highway 18 to 21 is typical. I have gotten 20+ mpg long highway trips, as long as the AC was off. I averaged agou 75 mph. The AC seems to drop the fuel economy by 1-2 mpg.

I also trrned the boost down from 14 or so PSI to around 11, that seems to have helped. On the turbo I think that a by pass valve would improve fuel economy, I just need to get around to setting one up.
