For some reason, I'm going through driver's side outer tie rod ends. The first (Moog) failed after only 10 months and less than 8k miles. The last (TRW) failed tonight after 3 months. Pennsylvania roads are notoriously bad, for what it's worth. That said, I suspect another problem. In the last year I replaced inner and outer rods and sleeves on both sides, as well as idler arm and pitman arm and ball joints all around. I can't understand what else could be causing this. Do you guys have any ideas? Are the quality of Moog and TRW parts really that bad?
