My local O-Riellys has a 1 row for $136 and 3 row for $249 - both have lifetime warranty and appear to be all metal... http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail...tPartType=C0331We have an old-school local radiator shop I like to use also, they can usually match or beat the auto parts on new stuff and sometimes can fix old radiators. (great place for gas-tank cleaning and restoration too!!) I have MANY 'lifetime warranty' parts on my junk - I promise they never thought I'd pull out a 10 or 15 yr old reciept and get parts for free, but the counter guys don't mind at all! The point is fleabay is infamous for inferior parts with much hassle required for exchange - I buy local every chance I get.

$70...but how much for shipping to Montreal?
Radiatorbarn.com has several different options, starting at $93. I hear a lot of good things about this site. Do a search.

The plastic parts of the rad is the upper and lower caps. From what I understand the plastic-to-metal rad bound is only good for about 6yrs.
If you don't want plastic end caps, you need to see if a shop can rebuild the oem one you have now, or grab one from a wrecking yard and have it rebuilt. A rebuild should run about the same as buying a new one w/plastic end caps, maybe less.

ok, i did some research & i've found out that this $70 ebay radiator only has 1 row of 1" core. size 15.75"x20.75". Shipping is $40.
Checking from local shops, radiatorBarn, & Ebay, I've also noticed other size options (16.75"x20.75"), (17.75"x20.75") showing up.
Do all these sizes fit no matter what? What is the OEM size & how many row?
The current aftermarket radiator I'm loosing my fins on is a 2 rows (1.5" thick), all metal, and 15.75"x20.75".
A local radiator shop sells a autocool, 17.75"x20.75"x2" 3 rows for $220.
Also, Radiatorbarn doesn't ship to Canada.

Oem 4cyl rad is 2 row. For better cooling, a lot of people have a 3rd row added to the oem one when they have it rebuilt.

Radiator barn 3 row is the only way to go.
I know from experience.

I bought a 3 row, all brass, radiator with a guarantee from Autozone. It sprung a leak at the lower hose connection in about 1 year. They exchanged it for another without hassle. That's been running ok for about six years. I think I paid about $120.
It looks like the the technology has changed. Now it seems that single row radiators are normal, but the tubes are twice as wide (front to back). So a single core radiator can have a two inch thick core. -- Matt
