Need a Spot
|
I purchased a 84 CJ7 about a year ago. It has been converted to a 304 V8. Why the guy didn't go ahead and put headers on then, I don't know. Anyhow, I need to replace one of the mufflers. I will be having new duals ran and want to know the best mufflers to use to still get a little noise. Give an idea on muffler cost as well. I don't want to break the bank. Thanks folks!

Any cheap Turbo muffler will work as long as physical size fits.
Personally, after my experience with a 304 and dual mufflers, you are better off going to s single muffler with the exhaust run out the back.

Ditto! on the single pipe out the back unless you really like the smell of exhaust! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
