85 Toy with a solid front axle right?

You dont have ball joints on a solid axle. What you do have is, a bearing cap, and knuckle or "Trunion" bearings. Those bearings are worn out, and need repaced.

What you want to do is freshen up the axle on both sides. Get a rebuild kit from one of the various vendors

Also, check your wheel bearings. Marlin also sells a kit that includes wheel bearings.
