I love the AT in the light snow and compact ice. I don't know how many times I have driven up to the Mt and for got to put it in AWD or 4wd because it just never slipped or slid on me. What I did not like about them was how easy a sharp rock went through the tread.

As for tire racks rating. I looked and the at has a rating of 7.3 in the ice and the KM2 is rated at 7.0 with it getting a higher rating for both light and deep snow.

To give you all a idea of how much I drive in the snow. I am up at Mt Hood 4 days out of the week skiing. I also rack up around 10-15k in the winter driving to different Mt to ski
