I think those rules are in place to put fear into people that should not be on the road anyway:) I hopped into my chev crewcab and shuttled kids to play dates and such during that time. even broke trail on a long unplowed driveway where people had been stuck for a week. after I went through it, people were able to get to the main road. Man that was fun. nothing like fishtailing a 24ft long truck through 24in snow at 25mph:) Of course, the only reason why i wasnt at work was because of the icy roads:) shhh.
