Remove as much fluid as you can from the reservoir (syringe, rags, etc) and then fill it with fresh fluid.
Next, crack open the bleeder on the slave cylinder and let it gravity bleed while keeping an eye on the reservoir so that it doesn't run too low. Let it drain until clean fluid starts coming out the bleeder.
