whats wrong with 35 psi?

>>>*Well.....Uhhh....I remember watching the troops at Woodburn playing with boost back in the day, (think late 60's, early 70's).

Around 7-8 pounds of boost was great fun, we saw some spectacular explosions. Stuff like a 427 Ford crankshaft sitting there in pieces at the starting line while the manager, Jim Livingston griped about the guy messing up his track...*LOL**..

When I got into replacement parts and the 4G63 Mitsubishi lines came up, I started getting emails from younger folks using more and more boost so we had to run specs higher and higher until now we are technology pegged, with folks running exhaust gas port temps that are practically a cutting torch.

I remember an email from one young man running 40# of boost, he asked me what might happen to my parts.

I told him "Maybe be big noise and be big cloud of smoke!", he thought that was funny.

Now people run that much all the time, that little 4G63 is one tough engine, amazing horsepower potential compared to what we could do back in the old days....*EB

*Beats the he** outa me!....*LOL**...
