Hook up an ammeter in between the battery + terminal and the [positive battery cable and check the reading. Then start pulling fuses to disconnect circuits and note if any cause that current to drop. If so, trace down what is powered by that fuse and see if you can track down the source of the current drain. Common problem is shorted diodes in the alternator.


I've done that, didnt notice anything...last time I tried it. I will try again and then I will disconnect the alt and see how it holds out....thanks.
